VAs of the Season

Virtual Assistants

At Wedding Workflows, our core values are more than just words we put on a page. We embody them in the way we support clients, collaborate with each other, and in how we show up every single day. This past quarter, we launched the Core Values Campaign in celebration of the Virtual Assistants who truly uphold what our team stands for.

We are excited to introduce our Q1 VAs of the Season. These three incredible team members stood out not only for the quality of their work, but also for their consistency, care, and the impact they make behind the scenes.

Virtual assistants often work quietly in the background, keeping things organized, moving projects forward, and helping creative businesses run smoothly. While much of their work happens out of sight, the results are felt everywhere. This campaign was our way of shining a light on the people who make that happen.

Join us as we get to know Ella, Nicole, and Klen a little better through their reflections on small wins, meaningful feedback, and what doing meaningful work looks like for them.

What’s a small win you’re proud of recently?

Ella

A small win I’m proud of recently is staying consistent. Even on days I felt tired or unsure, I still showed up and did the work. That consistency feels like growth to me.

Nicole

A small win I’m really proud of recently was being awarded VA of the Season. After years of consistent work, it felt incredibly validating to have my hard work recognized.

Honestly, my job became easier because I have clients who are easy to work with and genuinely inspiring. Oli and Steph are supportive, kind, and clear with their vision, which makes collaboration smooth and enjoyable. Working with people who trust you and value your input makes such a big difference because it pushes me to do better every day.

I’m also deeply thankful for my team leader, Ali, and my previous team leaders, Maria, Sofia, Nicole, and Kate. They consistently reminded me of the value of my work, my strengths, and the impact I was making. Their guidance and encouragement helped shape the professional I am today.

Receiving this award was rewarding, but more than anything, I hope I’m able to inspire other VAs to take pride in their work, stay consistent, and believe in their growth too.

Klen

A small win I’m proud of is consistently meeting my client’s needs and ending each week with no pending tasks. That sense of completion makes my weekends feel lighter and allows me to start Mondays feeling aligned and focused.

I approach my work one day at a time, making sure tasks, deadlines, and expectations are met consistently. Staying organized and disciplined in the small things adds up, and for me, that steady rhythm is a win in itself.

Have you ever received feedback that stuck with you?

Ella

Yes. My client Emily once shared how much of an impact I’ve made on their business and even mentioned me in her Instagram Story.

That really stayed with me because as a VA, a lot of what we do is behind the scenes. Hearing that it doesn’t go unnoticed meant more than she probably realized.

Nicole

Yes. One piece of feedback that really stuck with me was when my clients told me that I’m doing well at my job and that they genuinely value the work I do. Hearing that I make a difference and that the team relies on me meant a lot.

It wasn’t about praise, but about feeling trusted and appreciated. That kind of feedback is one of the many reasons why I enjoy my job even more and feel inspired to keep doing my best.

Klen

Yes, one of my clients asked me to create a special reel using photos from their company team building event. The images were fantastic to work with and immediately sparked so many creative ideas for me.

When I delivered the reel at the end of my shift, she congratulated me straight away and expressed her satisfaction. She went on to share it across all her socials and even featured it on her official website.

That moment really stayed with me because it affirmed that my work resonated with my client’s business. The feedback meant a lot and gave me a huge boost of confidence moving forward.

What does “doing meaningful work” mean to you?

Ella

Doing meaningful work means being trusted with something important.

I work night shifts while everyone in the house is asleep, and sometimes it’s just the glow of my screen in a quiet room. But knowing that my work supports real people and real businesses makes those quiet hours feel deeply purposeful.

Nicole

To me, doing meaningful work means being able to make a real difference. When I complete my tasks and my clients tell me that my work made things easier for them or allowed them to focus on what matters most, that’s when I truly feel the impact of what I do.

It’s not just about finishing tasks. It’s about knowing that my efforts create space, clarity, and momentum for someone else. And it’s been incredibly rewarding to see my clients’ business grow over the years and to play a part in that journey.

Klen

To me, meaningful work means delivering real value to my clients. It is not just about completing a task, but about creating something that genuinely supports and strengthens their business.

I believe meaningful work requires both quality and consistency. The output should meet a high standard while also serving a clear purpose.

It also means aligning closely with my client’s vision. If something is not quite right, I am always open to feedback and willing to refine it until it fully reflects what they need. Their response and satisfaction are what give my work meaning because the ultimate goal is to contribute in a way that makes a positive and lasting impact.

Ella, Nicolle, and Klen each shared different stories, but they all point to the same thing — meaningful work is not just about completing tasks.

To our three VAs of the Season, thank you for the heart and dedication you bring to the team. We are incredibly proud to celebrate you and the impact you continue to make for our clients and for Wedding Workflows.

And to the rest of our VA community, this campaign is also a reminder that the work happening behind the scenes matters more than you might realize. Every task completed, every client supported, and every small win adds up to something bigger.

Here’s to another season of great work, collaboration, and celebrating the people who make it all happen.
